Amboseli National Park
Amboseli is a large ecosystem whose core focus is the Amboseli National Park. The landscape is expansive and beautiful with the background of Mt Kilimanjaro which is well-sighted from many locations depending on the weather.
Amboseli Park is renowned for large herds of elephants and is also rich in other plains wildlife and large cats like lions, leopards, and cheetahs.
Hiking at the Nomatior Observation Hill is a relaxing experience from where one can see the distant vistas of the beautiful Maasai County.



Amboseli has many community conservancies surrounding Amboseli Park. Many are rich in wildlife and landscape and have accommodation that caters to different spending categories.
Amboseli is only a 2-hour drive from Nairobi making it a perfect weekend getaway. It is accessed either through Namanga or Mombasa Road off Emali town towards Oloitokitok on all-weather roads.
