Mount Kenya
Mt Kenya is a general term in tourism referring to the general ecosystem in which the central feature is Mt Kenya, which is Kenya’s highest mountain. The mountain is very popular with mountain climbers and has unique sceneries and wildlife.
On the Southern part are Nyeri town and Aberdares National Park and mountain ranges, which are beloved by visitors because of their nearness to the city and rich history. On the East in Nanyuki town and Laikipia plains, which have a rich colonial history and are also famous for their wildlife, fascinating landscape, and high-end accommodations.
Ol Pejeta Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the leading attractions in the Mt Kenya area. It is well established with an abundance of wildlife, especially the big 5. It also has a sanctuary for chimpanzees and black and white rhinos.
